I’ve been shooting photography and collecting cameras since around 1999, when I was 6 years old and gifted my first Barbie film camera. On a more serious note, over the years through middle and high school, I watermarked my photos with my name Nicole Jean or my nickname Nickee Jean as I searched for my artistic identity. When I established my style in 2012 I created the label Head Turner Photography to officially brand my work by its “head turning" and noteworthy aesthetics. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    I work with a range of equipment by Olympus and Canon, and was professionally trained by a commercial photographer with 16 years of experience. As an undergrad in college, Fine Art was one of my minors. I have worked solo most of my time in the trade, but I have also been a second shooter. I prefer to work solo because I like to think of my photography as an art to enjoy and not a business to run. I charge low flat rates and turn over photos from a session within one week, all high resolution digital images watermark free through PASS.

    Other than on this website and on Facebook, my work can be found scattered across the internet, hosted on old Flickr accounts that I no longer have access to, and also on various blogs. While some of that work is very old, I don’t mind having it online and available to see because I think it shows how far I have come as a growing artist.

 

    I shoot concerts, weddings, sports, performances, and other various events.
